Hello friends! Guess what I’m doing on Friday! Going to see Carrie Fisher’s one-woman show, Wishful Drinking. I know… how lucky am I? But that’s not all! Afterwards Marty and I are going to eat chocolate fondue as is our tradition when we see shows at Seattle Center. It can be a tradition if you’ve only done it twice, right? But that’s still not all! Before the fondue, before Carrie Fisher, even before I pick up my 7 pairs of pants from the seamstress (by the way, why must I pay embarrassing amounts of money for pants only to pay ridiculous amounts of money to a woman who hacks off 1/3 of them?) What I really wanted to tell you about is my meeting with my web designer, Karin.

She’s fabulous, isn’t she? Yes, she is. But we both agree it’s time for this site to get a refresh. For one thing I don’t even recognize that chick on the “about” page. Yikes! Maybe it’s time to update the photo. I’m much cuter than that. I have a laundry list for Karin and I’m sure she has one for me but I’d like to open it up to your suggestions. And no, I won’t entertain any “Turn off the ability to post inane updates.” I can’t. Believe me I’ve tried. They always find their way to the public. And yes, I know many of you have told me exactly what you think of this site but you’ll have to tell me again because I never wrote any of that dribble down. Sorry.

No guarantees, I’m on a budget here. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] with your suggestions, thoughts, opinions, hate mail. Bring it. I can take it.

Oh, and please make sure you address your hate mail to Karin. Thanks!

On a separate note, I’d like to give a special warm welcome to Aunt Dolores and Uncle Bob. I had no idea you were visiting but now that I know I’ll be sure to write more stories about my parents. Don’t believe a word they tell you. They love the attention! Maybe we should start with that one time my mom signed MY book at Barnes & Noble. And she had a line!

Anyway, thanks for reading. I look forward to your feedback.
