I can’t listen to this because I, like so many, have an irrational fear of hearing my own voice. There are “so many” of you, right?
Anyway, I had the distinct honor of returning to my college stomping grounds (Ithaca, NY) when I was asked to be the Keynote Speaker for the 2009 Women’s Expo, which includes a luncheon for the 20 Outstanding Women You Should Know. And let me tell you– they were outstanding. Thankfully they were also incredibly gracious and welcoming otherwise I’d still be hiding in the meat locker in the basement of the restaurant. And I’m a vegetarian so what does that tell you?
Listen at your risk here.
I’ve always thought this kind of activity is a good thing. At least, when I’ve thought about, which I have to admit wasn’t all that much . . . until my daughter was born. Now I think about it a lot. And it has become more than a “good thing”. I love it. I am so grateful that my daughter will have good, strong role models. It is great that you get to be part of it. Congratulations. Thank you.
Jack, that’s awesome. Thank you! You’re daughter is very lucky.
